Alex’s National Security Hackathon experience explored how several sensor observations could become useful context for an operator.

From observations to a decision.
Alex participated in the National Security Hackathon in San Francisco on 2–3 May 2026. Organised by Cerebral Valley with Army xTech, the event provided a short opportunity to explore an operational problem.
His posts after the event describe a prototype built in roughly a day, bringing radar, acoustic and imagery observations into an operator context using Palantir Foundry.
A prototype with a clear purpose.
The exercise explored how an operator could move from separate observations to questions about what was happening and what deserved attention. This was hackathon work. It does not establish a released ResQVision feature, a Palantir partnership or a government deployment.
For current capabilities, start with the platform overview. For documented delivery work, read the SAIL case study.
